In the Rec Room: Giz, Gambit, Jubilee, Mel, Kitty, Colossus and I are hanging out in the lounge while talking about random things and joking around. Warren joins us some time later.
Me: So what's everyone doin' for Valentine's Day??
Giz: Oh god. Who cares!
Kitty: Well. The ones who actually like have someone *giggles then looks at Peter*
Mel: Come on, Giz. Why don't you ask that one girl... What's her name. Tom's roommate.
Me: Ya mean Misty. Hey, she might go out with him. Does anyone else think it's weird that I share a room with a 12 year old??? I just realized that... And how long have I been here? Jeez.
Everyone: *Laughs*
Gambit: 'Tis not that strange chéri.
Colossus: If there aren't any single rooms available, the school has to do what it can to fit everyone in it, you know.
Me: Yeah, that's true.
Mel: Getting back to the point. So, why don't you Giz?
Giz: *blushes* shut up... I don't like her... Besides she already has a boyfriend...
Jubilee: HA! So you do like her!! You just proved it!!! HAHAHA
Everyone besides Giz: *laughs*
Colossus: Aw, leave the little guy alone.
Me: Fine... You're no fun Peter.
Gambit: What does Jubilee have planed for the 14th?
Jubilee: I don't know. I just might hang out here. What do you have in store for Tom??
Gambit: Well tha's a surpr'se for ma fille. *grins*
Me: Oh jeez. Look what ya did now Jubs! haha
--pause--
Me: I assume Kitty and you are doin' somethin' Peter.
Colossus: That all depends on if you want to do something. *looks at Kitty*
Kitty: *giggles*
Mel: *staring off into the corner of the room, sees Warren there looking out the window*
Me: Mel, what's the matter? *follow her gaze as does the rest of the group*
Jubilee: Hey, what's up with Angel face over there??
Mel: I don't know.
Kitty: Should like we invite him over?
Peter: That would be the nice thing to do.
Me: Hey Warren! C'mon and join our circle!
Warren: *stands straight from leaning on the window frame and smiles* Sure why not. *comes and sits awkwardly on the arm of the couch*
Giz: So do you have any plans let alone a girlfriend for Valentine's day???
Me: *throws a pillow at him* That's not a nice way of putting it!
Warren: Haha. That's alright. No I don't have a girlfriend and no I'm not doing anything.
Giz: See! I'm not the only one!!
Mel: Excuse me, but neither Jubs nor I have boyfriends!
Giz: That's different! You're girls.
Jubs: *under her breath* Plus we're older...
Everyone: *Laughs, but Giz who didn't catch it*
Peter: Where exactly were you going with that anyways??
Giz: ...I honestly don't know...
Me: haha So how do you like it here so far Warren? *notices him staring at Jubilee*
Warren: Uh... *shakes head away from Jubilee* It's pretty cool. I'm glad I can finally show my true self and not hide from anyone. *immediately gazes back at Jubilee who is blushing now*
Me: *whispers to Mel* I think there are soon going to be four couples¹ in our little group hehe.
Mel: *giggles*
Gambit: *drapes his arm around my shoulders* Remy has a feelin' this is goin' t' be one 'nteresting Valent'ne's Day.
